Exporting the data from your iPhone’s Health app is necessary at times. This app stores a lot of vital information like Step Count, Flights climbed, and even Blood Pressure, Electrocardiograms (ECG), Oxygen saturation, etc. These details are already backed up and stored safely in iCloud.

However, there may be situations when you need to view this data on a big screen or send it to your doctor. In such conditions, you will have to export the data from the iPhone’s Health app. Let us look at steps to do so.

The steps of exporting the health data have slightly been tweaked from what they were earlier.

Step #1. Launch Health app on your iPhone.

Step #2. Tap on your Profile Picture on the top right.

Step #3. Tap on Export All Health DataExport.

Step #4. Now you may Save this data to Files app or email it to yourself or your doctor. It will be exported as ZIP file. Inside this file your Health Data is present in XML format.

Note: If you do not see Save to Files or any other App of your choice, tap on Edit Actions from bottom left and using the green plus icon add the app to this share pane.

How to Move Health Data Using QS Access on iPhone

Though there are some third party apps which allow you to export your health data, we have found QS Access a bit better than others. Better still, it converts all the information into a readable CSV file-unlike Health.

Download QS Access for free from App Store.

Step #1. Launch QS Access on your iOS device.

Step #2. Now, select the columns that you want to export and tap on Create Table at the bottom right corner.

Step #4. You will see a table of your data on the screen. Tap on the Share button to export it.

Step #5. Up next, you need to tap on the app to which you want to share the data. In this test, I am going to mail it to myself.

Import Health Data to New iPhone with Health Data Importer App

You will need to take the help of a third party app to import the health data on your iOS device. Health Importer (Price $4.99) is a pretty good option that can do the job for you.

Step #1. First up, open the email you had sent to yourself in Mail app.

Step #2. Tap and hold the attachment until to reveal the sharing option.

Step #3. Tap on “Health Data Importer.”

Step #4. In the Health Importer app; map your data you have just imported with the data points.

You just need to tap on each data points and map it accurately. Then, tap on Save. You will have to repeat it with each category.

Step #5. Tap on “Import Data to Health App”. It will start importing the data from CSV file to your Health app. Now, wait and let the process be Completed successfully. Now open the Health app, and check out the just imported data.
